Just 25km from the Great Karoo town of Prince Albert you’ll come across this beautiful place, Weltevrede Fig Farm. Here peacefully nestled at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains, time seems to have kindly passed by without altering much.

It’s a place of giant old blue gum trees and views without end.

Weltevrede Fig Farm is also one of the first fig farms in South Africa. Visit the farm shop for dried, fresh, and bottled figs, jams and preserves or sample some of their heavenly fig tart along with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
