The Belfry Kitchen is a historic campus cafeteria, serving as a breakfast and lunch café venue on the campus of the S.A. Institute for Heritage Science and Conservation – an institution of postgraduate higher education, located in the heart of Twee Riviere.
The cafeteria specializes in campus-grown produce, woodfired oven bread and great coffee! It is also a notable culinary destination, following in the cordon bleu tradition.
Adhering to its motto, “earth’s bounty”, this establishment features plenty of handmade cheeses, flavourful dishes and seasonal treats – all drawn from the kitchen gardens, orchards, dairy, and the bountiful resources of this rural campus estate.
On-campus accommodation cottages are also available to the traveller and broader public.
Orchard View Cottage:
This free-standing cottage has two bedrooms (one bathroom), with a double bed in the main bedroom, and two single beds in the second bedroom.
A third single bed can be placed in the nook of the lounge to accommodate an additional guest.
The cottage is situated approximately 250m from the campus cafeteria, The Belfry Kitchen.
