Jeffrey's Bay Tourism

Located in the Eastern Cape Province and just off the end off R62, Jeffrey's Bay is a thriving holiday town.

It is considered to be one of the five surfing meccas in the world and surfers from all around the globe congregate here. The annual Billabong Pro WCT event is held in July.

The area is also ideal for other water sports such as canoeing, surfskiing and boardsailing. Most visitors however simply opt for the beach and enjoy the vibe.

The Kabeljous, Seekoei and Krom rivers which all empty out into the Indian Ocean nearby also attract many waterbirds and whales can be seen playing with their calves just behind the breakers, every year between May and October.
